What Happens in a CROP Walk?
You walk and seek sponsors who contribute.
We want everyone to be able to participate
so some friends in wheelchairs or who can go just a little way, just walk in the park,
others walk 3 or 5 miles to identify with many people who MUST walk for water, food, survival.

The Walk! at 1:30 on Sunday, September 30, 2012, all of us walkers will register in the Park in Fair Haven, and we will take off on our walk at 2:00! We have three routes so anyone can participate.. A map will be available at the walk and there will be signs at every corner.
A. All of us will walk or wheel through the park. Some of us will go only as far as our health or mobility will allow us.
B. Many folks will continue up Rt. 22A, across Fourth St., back down North Main Street and return to the park.
C. The more robust walkers will go through the park, up Rt. 22A, and journey up to the airport on Airport Road. Turing around at the end of the runway they will come back, continue across Fourth Street and come down North Main Street to the Park.
And at the end of the walk we enjoy ice cream, other refreshments, music, and fellowship!
Awesome Results! EVERY TIME we see a disaster on TV, or read about one in the news, WE WILL BE THERE HELPING through our CROP walk! If you feel helpless before the problems of the world, here's hope and power to make a difference! From your own home town (up to 25% of the money raised stays in town to help hurting and hungry people), across the country (like Florida after the devastating storms) to the far reaches of the globe - Afghanistan, Viet Nam... wherever there are hurting people, we - through our CROP Walk - are helping!
